Prize: The prize for the Town & City Gift Cards/Scotland Loves Local Gift Cards ‘UK’s Favourite Local Business’ competition is £1500 of Town & City Gift Cards/Scotland Loves Local Gift Cards, as listed and available to buy at https://townandcitygiftcards.com/ in October 2024, with the prize issued in two (2) parts as follows: One (1) business who is announced as UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 will win a £500 Town & City Gift Card/Scotland Loves Local Gift Card of their choice. One (1) person who nominated the UK’s Favourite Local Business will win a £1000 Town & City Gift Card/Scotland Loves Local Gift Card of their choice. The two (2) parts of the prize will be awarded as voucher codes, which the recipients can use to purchase a single or multiple Town & City Gift Cards/Scotland Loves Local Gift Cards of their choice from https://townandcitygiftcards.com/ either physical or digital (where available). The voucher code is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. The voucher code can not be used with any other promotion code, offer or discount. The prize is subject to availability, can not be exchanged for cash, and is not transferable.

How to enter: Entries must be made via the competition entry form lovelocalwin.co.uk including answering the qualifying question: Why should they be UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024? No purchase is necessary. The competition is open to residents of the UK, over the age of 18, except employees of Miconex/Town & City Gift Cards and its clients and partners. Each individual may place one (1) vote for each business that they nominate in the competition, additional entries will be disregarded.
How the winners will be selected: One (1) UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 will be selected as the business who receives the most qualifying votes via the official entry form within the competition entry period (outlined above). Miconex reserves the right to select the winner of their choice as UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024, regardless of entries. One (1) person who nominated the business chosen as UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 will be selected at random from qualifying entries after the closing date. If there are insufficient entries (less than 100 entries across the UK) then the prize will not be allocated.
How it will be awarded: The business selected as UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 will be notified by email within 3 working days of the close date. If UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 is happy to accept the prize, it will be awarded. If they are not happy to accept their prize, the winning business selection process will be undertaken again, until such time as it is completed successfully. With the UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 selected and accepted, one person who nominated the UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 will then be selected as above and notified within 3 working days of the close date. The UK’s Favourite Local Business 2024 and the winning person who nominated that business must be happy to be part of publicity related to the win.
When does it need to be claimed by: The business selected as the UK’s Favourite Local Business, and the winning person who nominated the UK’s Favourite Local Business must each claim their prize by responding to our email within 72 hours of being notified, otherwise the prize will be redrawn. If no response is received by the UK’s Favourite Local Business and the winning person who nominated them within 24 hours of being notified, a second email will be sent. If no response is received within 48 hours of being notified, a third and final email will be sent.
