Royal Mail strike action in October

Royal Mail workers who collect, sort, and deliver parcels and letters are set to take further strike action on 13^th October, 20^th October and 25^th October 2022. During these strike days, Royal Mail will aim to deliver as many Special Delivery (Express) parcels as possible and will not be delivering letters (with the exception of Special Delivery). Collections from post boxes and post offices will also be less frequent on these strike days.

We want to make sure that you receive your Town & City Gift Card in good time, so please place your order as soon as possible. We’ll get your Town & City Gift Card order out to you quickly, but just bear in mind that due to the strike action there may be a delay in your gift card arriving. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although Royal Mail has not yet received formal notification from the Communication Workers Union, potential additional strike action may also take place on Monday 28^th November, with strike action impacting different areas of Royal Mail between 2^nd November and 2^nd December. If and when these strikes are confirmed, we will let you know.  In the meantime, we look forward to receiving your Town & City Gift Card orders, and thank you for supporting local.
